In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
